Pedro Rodrigues is widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever play for Fluminense, Brazil's most successful club and one of the top clubs in South America. Born on August 24, 1985, in Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigues began his professional career with Fluminense in 2006 and went on to become one of the team's most important players.
Rodrigues played in every single match for Fluminense during the 2007-2008 season, helping the team win the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title. He also helped the team reach the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores, where they lost to eventual champions River Plate of Argentina.
